DOT and Non-DOT Mobile Drug Testing

DOT and Non-DOT Mobile Drug Testing

Non Federal Testing (Non-DOT)
Determining which test panel to choose from can be challenging. PDS offers three comprehensive panels to choose from.
5-panel This panel mimics the federal (DOT) lab test panel (Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, THC, PCP, MDMA, 6-AM)
10-panel This panel includes the standard 5 in addition to: (Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propoxyphene)
10-panel EXT Our most comprehensive panel includes the standard 10 in addition to: (Oxycodone)
Federal Testing (DOT)
The Department of Transportation regulates drug testing if an employer is governed by a DOT agency such as: FAA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, PHMSA & USCG. These programs have defined protocols requiring the 5 panel drug test. PDS’s certified collectors are trained using Title 49 CFR Part 40 collection guidelines ensuring compliance with your federal program requirements.

Pre-Employment & Random Testing
An instant urine screening takes only minutes and when negative, provides the opportunity to return the employee back to work immediately after testing. If the sample is non-negative it will then be sent to a certified laboratory for confirmation testing. Adding the instant test to your program reduces lost work time waiting for results to come back from the lab. Test panels available are the 5 and 10. Oral fluid testing is a quick, non-invasive option for recent drug use and hair follicle testing detects long term drug use.
Post-Accident & Reasonable Suspicion Testing
We utilize Lifeloc DOT compliant “best in class” workplace evidential breath alcohol equipment. Immediate results help the employer make an informed decision about whether the donor is intoxicated or another medical impairment may be happening. Rapid onsite testing provides immediate results for workplace safety.
All Accredited Drug Testing specialists are certified for urine, hair and saliva drug collations and breath alcohol screenings.
Mobile drug tests can be conducted at any location and tests can include a 5 panel or 10 panel screen and all tests are sent to a SAMHSA Certified Laboratory for confirmation analysis and verification by a Medical Review Officer.
